Study permit – Canada

What is a study permit – Canada? A study permit is a written authorization issued by an officer allowing foreign nationals to study in Canada.
Can I study in Canada without a study permit? Depends on many things, such as the duration of your program, the program of study, the status of parents if the student minor, and many other factors.
When does a study permit expires? A study permit becomes invalid 90 days after your study program has been completed. When you receive a notification of program completion from your school then your program is considered complete. However, there are situations when you leave your program of study and we did not cover it here. We only discussed if you successfully complete your program of study.
