How to become a Canadian Permanent Resident through investment?
What is the minimum investment that I need to apply in order to become a Canadian PR? Depends on which province and which category.
One program, such as a Work Permit Stream, allows prospective entrepreneurs to start their own company in a province* in Canada in order to obtain a nomination for permanent residence in Canada. In order to be eligible for the program, first of all, applicants need to meet the following criteria:
1. Minimum net worth: CA$600,000
2. Minimum investment: CA$150,000
3. Minimum language: CLB 4 (equivalent to IELTS General – R3.5 L4.5 W4.0 S4.0)
4. Minimum education: Completion of high school
5. Minimum 3 out of 5 years of experience in managing and owning a business or senior management
6.To be between 21 to 59 years old.
**This program is specific to only one province in Canada.
